The Division of Real Estate (DRE) is responsible for the examination, licensing, and regulation of more than 480,000 real estate and appraisal professionals. The Division provides administrative support to the Florida Real Estate Commission (FREC) and the Florida Real Estate Appraisal Board (FREAB). The Division’s objectives are to lead the nation in licensing and regulatory programs for Florida real estate and appraiser licensees. The Bureau of Enforcement is responsible for the compliance of licensees and protecting the public by performing timely and efficient investigations. The Bureau investigates complaints regarding the real estate and appraisal professions, as well as unlicensed activity. Violations that warrant additional action are processed through the Department’s Office of General Counsel. This telework position located in South Florida is part of the Bureau of Enforcement and is responsible for audits/inspections and investigating complaints of alleged violations of real estate and appraisal license law. This position may be based in Ft. Lauderdale or Miami.
