About The Position

The Inventory Trailer Specialist is responsible for managing the organization and movement of trailers within the yard, ensuring accurate inventory records, and providing support to the sales department. This role involves operating yard equipment, inspecting trailers, processing paperwork, and interacting with both internal departments and external customers. The specialist must maintain a safe, clean, and presentable yard environment while adhering to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

Creates a storage file of pictures on the share server for the sales department to view to be able to complete appraisals on all trailers.
Interacts with customers and all company department employees.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
Requires office skills, including personal computers, Microsoft products (Word for Windows, Excel, and Outlook), 10-key, and the ability to operate other office equipment.
Strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, solid organizational and multitasking skills.
An awesome attitude with impeccable interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving skills.
The ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.

Responsibilities

Operates yard truck (hostler truck) to move trailers between parking areas, service bays, and staging areas.
Maintains an organized and orderly yard.
Receives sales trailers using Record360 and inspects them for any damage.
Stages sales trailers for customer pick up/delivery and uses Record360 to check them out.
Performs weekly physical inventory checks.
Processes all associated paperwork and inputs data related to trailers received.
Communicates with management and trailer sales departments to provide information on trailers received and delivered; responds to questions on trailers and verifies that serial numbers and plates are on the trailer.
Maintains yard mule, golf cart in a clean, neat, orderly, and safe manner.
Maintains the yard by picking up trash and ensuring it is always presentable.
Takes pictures of all trailers for the Sales Department using Record360 Marketing workflow.
Handles customer complaints and maintains high customer satisfaction standards.
Performs other duties assigned by management.
Follows all company safety policies and procedures and immediately reports all accidents to a manager or supervisor.
