About The Position

This role is responsible for supporting inventory control within the warehouse, including handling raw materials and components. The position involves tasks such as pulling orders, returning materials, maintaining the warehouse environment, and assisting with lab or production needs. The job requires adherence to safety procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Requirements

Complete forklift safety inspection before using it.
Pulling correct raw materials & quantities, according to F E FO Stages.
Reports any deviations such as; shortages, expired , and missing raw materials.
Makes sure raw materials are sealed properly before returning them.
Checks Inventory Count Tag for updated usage.
Makes sure containers are appropriately cleaned, by pre-weigh, for return.
Sweep the floor to keep the area safe for travel.
Empties warehouse trash containers as needed.
Cleans up any spills in the warehouse, according to SOP.
Makes sure doors are locked and bay doors are closed when not in use.
Reports on any problems with doors.
Pulls raw materials as requested by Lab and takes them to Pre-Weigh.
Pulling the correct component and quantities, according to FIFO, from a pick list.
Reports any deviations such as missing, incorrect quantities, wrong locations, etc.
Stage components until Production is ready for them.
Each pallet is tagged with a batch pallet tag.
Submit the completed pick list to the Supervisor noting any deviations.
Check paperwork on returned components to make sure info is correct.
Makes sure containers are sealed for proper storage.
If there are any errors with the first 2, consult with the production supervisor for corrections.
Returns components.
Organize components/raw materials to utilize warehouse space efficiently.
All are documented on a WMMF.
Combining like products.
Regularly required to talk or listen.
Frequently required to use hands or fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
Occasionally required to stand, walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

Deliver raw materials as needed by Pre-weigh.
Report any deviations such as shortages, expired, or missing raw materials.
Return raw materials to their assigned bin locations, ensuring proper sealing.
Check Inventory Count Tag for updated usage.
Clean containers appropriately for return.
Maintain the warehouse by sweeping floors, emptying trash containers, and cleaning up spills according to SOP.
Ensure doors are locked and bay doors are closed when not in use, and report any problems with doors.
Pull raw materials as requested by the Lab and take them to Pre-Weigh.
Assist with other warehouse duties, including returning and pulling components.
Pull components for Production according to FIFO from a pick list.
Stage components until Production is ready for them.
Submit completed pick lists to the Supervisor, noting any deviations.
Check paperwork on returned components to ensure information is correct.
Organize components/raw materials to utilize warehouse space efficiently, documenting on a WMMF.
