About The Position

The Inventory Control Support role is responsible for managing raw chemical and component inventory within the warehouse. This includes accurately pulling materials, returning them to storage, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and assisting with various warehouse duties. The position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a warehouse setting.

Requirements

Complete forklift safety inspection before using it.
Pull correct raw materials & quantities, according to FEFO Stages, and deliver them as needed by Pre-weigh.
Report any deviations such as shortages, expired, and missing raw materials.
Return raw materials back to their assigned bin locations, ensuring they are sealed properly.
Check Inventory Count Tag for updated usage.
Ensure containers are appropriately cleaned for return.
Sweep the floor to keep the area safe for travel.
Empty warehouse trash containers as needed.
Clean up any spills in the warehouse, according to SOP.
Ensure doors are locked and bay doors are closed when not in use, and report any problems with doors.
Pull raw materials as requested by Lab and take them to Pre-Weigh.
Assist with other warehouse duties, including returning and pulling components.
Pull the correct component and quantities, according to FIFO, from a pick list.
Stage components until Production is ready for them.
Submit the completed pick list to the Supervisor noting any deviations.
Check paperwork on returned components to make sure information is correct.
Organize components/raw materials to utilize warehouse space efficiently, combining like products.
Document all organization activities on a WMMF.
Regularly required to talk or listen.
Frequently required to use hands or fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
Occasionally required to stand, walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
