About The Position

The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for warehouse inventory control processes and the accuracy of records management in accordance with company policies. The role leads and assists with physical counts and inventory reconciliation, investigates discrepancies, and ensures inventory documentation and processes are completed, reviewed, and appropriately filed. The supervisor analyzes inventory information to identify trends and process issues, communicates findings and improvement opportunities, and trains, leads, and motivates personnel to support accurate inventory and continuous improvement.

Requirements

3–5 years of experience in inventory management or logistics.
1–3 years of experience leading teams, managing warehouse operations, and utilizing inventory software.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field of study.
Experience using SAP and Smartsheet.

Responsibilities

Lead, assist, and direct physical-count activities to ensure accurate inventory levels.
Help research inventory discrepancies and ensure they are resolved when possible.
Ensure required inventory documentation and processes are completed, reviewed, and filed appropriately.
Analyze inventory information to identify trends and processes affecting inventory control, and communicate findings.
Train and lead personnel and evaluate processes to drive continuous improvement.
Support, lead, and motivate a team by communicating company goals, safety practices, and deadlines.
Communicate identified process improvements to warehouse management, operations, and other departments.
Engage and develop teammates through on-the-job coaching and training, and perform other tasks as instructed by leadership.
