About The Position

We are looking for an Inventory Supervisor to oversee the efficient management and control of inventory within the distribution center. The Inventory Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory levels, coordinating inventory related activities, and ensuring a smooth flow of goods throughout the supply chain.

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a 3PL environment or logistics industry
Strong knowledge of inventory management processes, industry best practices, and relevant regulations
Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to communicate, including reading, writing, and speaking in English.
Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement
Ability to perform basic math functions.
Ability to work overtime as business needs dictate.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inventory items, including receiving, storing, and shipping.
Utilize warehouse management systems (CloudX) to manage stock levels effectively.
Conduct regular physical inventory counts to reconcile stock levels and identify any discrepancies.
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between system records and physical counts.
Implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock levels to meet customer demands while minimizing carrying costs and excess stock.
Ensure that all inventory handling processes follow established quality control standards and comply with safety regulations.
Generate inventory reports, analyze data, and provide insights to management to improve inventory control procedures and overall warehouse efficiency.
Analyze inventory levels and trends to determine optimal stock levels and reorder points.
Conduct monthly EFR (Efficiency Feedback Reviews) with staff providing feedback and coaching on areas of improvement.
Supervise and provide guidance to inventory control staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Collaborate with customer service and sales teams to resolve inventory-related customer inquiries and ensure timely and accurate order processing.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance.
Strategically plan and implement storage layouts to maximize space utilization within the warehouse.
Continuously assess storage capacity and identify opportunities for optimizing space allocation, reducing wastage, and increasing overall storage efficiency.
