We are searching for a talented Inventory Supervisor to join our team in Kingston, Ontario. If you enjoy solving problems, staying organized, and working with cross functional teams to keep operations running smoothly, this could be a great opportunity for you. In this role, you will help ensure materials are available when needed, inventory remains accurate, and supplier relationships support efficient production. You will work closely with purchasing, planning, warehouse, finance, quality, and product development teams to support daily operations. This position is fully onsite to allow for collaboration across departments and hands on inventory management.

Requirements

  • Experience in purchasing, inventory management, supply chain, or a related operational role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Strong attention to detail with experience maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues and identify process improvements.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in Canada without the need for employment visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with inventory control, material planning, or enterprise resource planning systems is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Manage purchasing activities, including supplier communication, purchase order documentation, invoice support, and delivery tracking.
  • Coordinate material replenishment, monitor supply availability, and escalate potential shortages that may affect production or customers.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier documentation, and support the setup of new suppliers.
  • Lead inventory management activities, including cycle counting, inventory adjustments, reconciliation, and investigations into inventory differences.
  • Review inventory levels, safety stock, and slow moving materials to reduce waste and improve inventory accuracy.
  • Support production planning by ensuring materials are available, warehouse transfers are completed on time, and inventory holds are resolved before production.
  • Partner with product development and suppliers to identify material risks, source new ingredients, coordinate sample shipments, and support material approval activities.
