About The Position

The Training and Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for activities related to physical inventory accuracy and technical oversight variances for MRO operations at BMW Manufacturing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 1 to 3 years related experience in inventory management and/or training, or equivalent combination experience.
• Minimum of 6 months Standup forklift experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to obtain forklift license.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with SAP/WMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify and investigate discrepancies.
• Utilize SAP/WMS systems.
• Perform audits comparison analysis.
• Conduct cycle counts.
• Analyze inventory trends.
• Escalate additional training needs to management.
• Verify and manage parts utilization.
• Conduct all audits as requested by management.
• Prepare and submit all reports and KPI’s as assigned by management.
• Investigate issues with goods movements.
• Ensure compliance with the safety program.
• Resolve dashboard exceptions.
• Manage the disposal or transfer of obsolete, damaged, or expired inventory.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
