About The Position

Serves as a liaison between the organization and the customer served by provided solutions. Maintains the day-to-day functions of a Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) site within a client's facility. The role operates under general supervision and involves applying judgment within well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Complex or unusual problems are referred to a supervisor, and work is typically reviewed regularly by a senior coworker or supervisor.

Requirements

• Generally, 2–5 years of experience in the area of responsibility.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for periods of up to and exceeding 60 minutes.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements, such as using a 10-key or calculator, bending, or squatting.
• Specialized skills training or certification may be required.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of the customer's daily replenishment orders.
• Receive daily replenishment and branch transfers to maintain accurate inventory.
• Complete control reports at the intervals described in the operations manual.
• Monitor and adjust minimum and maximum inventory parameters on an ongoing basis.
• Recognize and communicate market and customer business conditions to necessary stakeholders.
• Discuss product stocking levels, assortment, and seasonal fluctuations with the customer to prevent outages.
• Monitor inventory and maintain regional items as necessary.
