About The Position

This role involves supporting warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing raw materials and components. Key responsibilities include performing forklift safety inspections, accurately pulling and staging materials according to specific inventory protocols (FEFO for raw materials, FIFO for components), reporting any inventory discrepancies, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. The position also provides support to the lab by pulling requested raw materials and assists with component inventory control.

Requirements

  • Complete forklift safety inspection before using it.
  • Pulling correct raw materials & quantities, according to FEFO.
  • Reports any deviations such as; shortages, expired, and missing raw materials.
  • Makes sure raw materials are sealed properly before returning them.
  • Checks Inventory Count Tag for updated usage.
  • Makes sure containers are appropriately cleaned, by pre-weigh, for return.
  • Sweep the floor to keep the area safe for travel.
  • Empties warehouse trash containers as needed.
  • Cleans up any spills in the warehouse, according to SOP.
  • Makes sure doors are locked and bay doors are closed when not in use. Reports on any problems with doors.
  • Pulling components for Production.
  • Pulling the correct component and quantities, according to FIFO, from a pick list.
  • Reports any deviations such as missing, incorrect quantities, wrong locations, etc.
  • Stage components until Production is ready for them.
  • Each pallet is tagged with a batch pallet tag.
  • Submit the completed pick list to the Supervisor, noting any deviations.
  • Check paperwork on returned components to make sure info is correct.
  • Makes sure containers are sealed for proper storage.
  • If there are any errors with the first 2, consult with the production supervisor for corrections.
  • Returns components.
  • Maintains/Organizes Warehouse/CP or Sweeps the floor to keep the area safe for travel.
  • Empties warehouse trash containers.
  • Cleans up any spills in the warehouse, according to SOP.
  • Makes sure doors are locked and bay doors are closed when not in use. Reports on any problems with doors.
  • Organize components/raw materials to utilize warehouse space efficiently. All are documented on a WMMF. Combining like products.
