About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and safety-focused Inventory / Receiving Clerk to join the warehouse operations team. The role supports warehouse operations by managing incoming shipments, conducting inventory counts, maintaining accurate records, and keeping the warehouse organized. It suits someone comfortable with physical inventory and scanning systems who can maintain order and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, inventory control, or material handling is preferred.
• Familiarity with barcode scanners (RF scanners), basic computer or inventory software, and inventory documentation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical labor in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail, strong work ethic, dependable punctuality, and excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or material handling carts.
• OSHA certification or relevant material handling or safety training.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments, inspect packages and freight for damage, and verify deliveries against purchase orders or bills of lading (BOL).
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts, and audit inventory locations to ensure system accuracy.
• Scan incoming inventory, attach barcodes or labels, and stage items in designated warehouse bins or locations using inventory tracking software.
• Safely move materials throughout the facility using manual hand trucks, pallet jacks, or warehouse machinery.
• Log received goods accurately, report discrepancies or damaged shipments to management, and maintain complete documentation.
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines, keep receiving bays clean and organized, and complete standard equipment inspections.
