As an Inventory & Property Associate II, you will play a key role in managing inventory, stockroom operations, and property control activities to support agency operations. Responsibilities include receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing materials and equipment; maintaining accurate inventory records; processing shipments; and ensuring stockroom safety and efficiency. This position operates in a warehouse and stockroom environment and requires frequent lifting and moving of packages and materials weighing up to 45 pounds, with occasional lifting of items up to 60 pounds. Employees regularly use equipment such as pallet jacks, loading docks, and other material-handling tools. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening or weekend work required on short notice to meet operational needs. Limited travel may be required, including the operation of State-owned vehicles; therefore, possession of a valid Maine Driver's License is required. The stockroom environment is dusty and does not have natural light. While temperatures are generally moderate, they may fluctuate throughout the year. Duties may also require work on a loading dock during hot, cold, or inclement weather conditions. Steel-toe footwear is required and provided by the agency.
