About The Position

You will be the Lockheed Martin AFS, U-2 Inventory/Material Supply Technician for the Depot Level Maintenance Teams, responsible for Parts, tools and supply functions within scope of the U-2 Aircraft stationed at Beale AFB, California. Compiles records concerned with quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued. Requisitions needed supplies; verifies material received to determine irregularities in order; inspects articles and rejects defective ones. Prepares inventory records and reports and investigates discrepancies in stock counts. Establish and Maintain (WIP) Work In Progress parts and supply. Store components in a safe and organized designed in accordance with Lockheed Martin and Local Procedures. Overall site focal point for tools Hazardous Chemicals and Bench stock items and all inventory Management. Performs nonstandard and complex tasks using advanced techniques and in-depth discipline knowledge. Analyzes requirements for special projects, recommends methods and processes, conducts research, and assists in investigational studies. Supports the design and development of new or modified equipment, methods, or systems for enhanced performance. Evaluates and resolves calibration and troubleshooting issues. Demonstrates expertise in specialized functions, encompassing a comprehensive understanding of general and technical aspects of the job. Applies knowledge to solve complex problems and handle challenging situations.

Requirements

  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
  • Active Secret clearance to start.
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Must read, write and speak English fluently.
  • USAF/Aircraft Parts supply and or Aircraft Experience.
  • Proficiency in using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely
  • Ability to inspect materials for damage, maintain accurate inventory records, and follow instructions precisely
  • Basic inventory skills: inventory tracking, counting, and reporting.
  • Organizational skills: To keep storage areas and workspaces clean and efficient
  • Safety awareness: Knowledge of OSHA or facility safety protocols to prevent accidents

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA Certs.
  • Forklift qualified multi level. 5k 10k. etc
  • Experience in inventory management.
  • Bench stock management Tool Room management.
  • Experience in tool control and hazmat handling.
