About The Position

You will be the U-2 Aircraft Modification Technician for the Aircraft Modification Team which is responsible for delivering precise (Structural) modifications to U-2 Aircraft stationed at Beale AFB, California. This role involves heavy depot-level maintenance, repair, and modification of aircraft structures and major subassemblies. You will plan, lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and repair various sheet metal and structural assemblies and sub-assemblies utilizing precision measuring equipment. The candidate will be able to complete jobs in maintenance data collection systems, adhere to all technical orders, fault isolation manuals, ground operating procedures, and local operational instructions.

Requirements

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
Active Secret clearance required to start.
Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
Must read, write and speak English fluently.
Minimum 5 years experience with Aircraft maintenance and/or modification activities
Must have held a USAF skill level 7 (or equivalent) in their career field.
Experienced in Aircraft Structural repair and installation
Be able to read & interpret blueprints and schematics

Nice To Haves

U-2 Nose to Tail experience in Structures experience.
Aircraft MOD Experience
USAF Trained certified in structural repair.
Possess previous instructor / training experience.
Heavy Depot Maintenance experience

Responsibilities
