About The Position

The Inventory Manager leads and educates the store Inventory team on the movement of merchandise into and out of the store and contributes to seamless operations throughout the retail space. The role is responsible for processing shipments, maintaining effective back-room product placement and stock levels, upholding merchandising placement standards, enabling integrated cross-channel shopping, and supporting broader retail operations. The Inventory Manager also manages the day-to-day performance of the team to support business objectives, career development, and a strong employee experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and educate the Inventory team on merchandise movement into and out of the store.
• Process incoming and outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently, including shipments to and from distribution centres, between stores, and to clients.
• Strategically place product in the back room, distribute it to achieve optimal balance, and maintain ideal stock quantities.
• Uphold product display standards by ensuring products are in the right places and stock levels follow the established merchandising placement plan.
• Enable seamlessly integrated cross-channel shopping experiences.
• Support retail-space operations, including window installations, fitting room operations, supplies and equipment management, and technology support.
• Manage the day-to-day performance of the team to support business objectives, progressive career development, and an excellent employee experience.
