About The Position

As a Hub Inventory Manager at AutoZone, you’ll lead inventory control processes, maintain merchandising standards, and help ensure a safe, productive work environment. The role manages hard-parts inventory, oversees cycle counts, and supports operational excellence in alignment with AutoZone’s core values. It is suited to someone interested in automotive retail, inventory accuracy, and team collaboration. The position also involves supporting customers in locating parts or suitable alternatives, coordinating with the Hub General Manager on merchandise transfers, and following company policies, procedures, dress code, and scheduling requirements. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of automotive parts and retail operations.
Strong communication and decision-making skills.
Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to meet physical job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in retail inventory management or automotive parts handling.
Familiarity with AutoZone systems and operational procedures.

Proven ability to lead tasks and support team members.
Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of hard-parts inventory for peak efficiency.
Complete the weekly Cycle Count Matrix and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Scan and manage all product outs within the store.
Promote and enforce workplace safety, including PPE compliance.
Review and maintain inventory accuracy and documentation.
Delegate and oversee inventory merchandising tasks.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and loss-prevention requirements.
Maintain hub appearance and merchandising presentation standards.
Manage overstock merchandise and ensure accurate slotting.
Sequence the hub parts area to accommodate new Fast-Moving Goods (FOGs).
Ensure planograms are current and tagged, and report discrepancies.
Collaborate with the Hub General Manager on merchandise transfers.
Process Direct Store Delivery (DSD) merchandise and maintain records.
Use the system to help customers locate parts or suitable alternatives.
Adhere to AutoZone’s dress code and scheduling requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
