Join us and help run what runs the world. This position reports to: Planning & Fulfillment Manager. In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan, direct, and monitor all activities in the warehouse. Each day, you will develop and manage warehouse operations to effectively control the receipt, storage, picking, and dispatch of products, systems, and services to customers. You will also showcase your expertise by proposing and managing the annual warehouse budget. The work model for the role is: Onsite. This role is contributing to the Electrification Business in the Smart Power Division located in North Mississippi/Memphis area.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in SAP WM/EWM (goods receipt, goods issue, transfer orders, inventory management)
  • Strong knowledge of KPI development and reporting (fill rate, inventory accuracy, cycle count, etc.)
  • Familiarity with WMS systems, barcoding, and RF scanning technologies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and analysis
  • Proven track record managing multi-shift warehouse teams (20+ direct/indirect reports)
  • 5+ years of progressive experience as a Warehouse Manager or equivalent leadership role
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Warehouse Management (WM) module
  • Experience implementing 5S, Kaizen, or similar methodologies in a warehouse environment
  • Strong inventory control practices including cycle counting, FIFO, and reconciliation
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety standards
  • Experience with inbound/outbound logistics coordination and carrier management
  • Ability to manage budgets, labor planning, and cost control for warehouse operations
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage escalations and material shortage
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management across procurement, operations, and finance
  • Ability to lead change and drive a culture of accountability and safety
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and process discipline

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or a master’s degree or professional certification (APICS CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent) considered assets.
  • Demonstrated experience managing high-value inventory ($50M+ preferred; $80M+ ideal)
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (especially electrical/automation industries)
  • Exposure to ERP system upgrades or SAP migrations
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or higher

Responsibilities

  • Operating within the approved budget and managing the warehouse staff activities to optimize resource utilization and determines corrective actions for cost-related issues as necessary.
  • Improving warehouse operations using lean practices.
  • Planning and optimizing warehouse utilization and inventory.
  • Increasing the WH accuracy while implementing sustainable process improvements.
  • Monitoring the storage, delivery, and dispatch of orders and keeping stock control systems up to date; and overseeing stock control and processing orders.
