About The Position

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Warehouse Logistics Material Handler at its Advance Manufacturing Facility in Huntsville, Alabama. Under general supervision, this position performs manual and clerical work related to receiving, moving, storing, disbursing, packaging, and shipping sensitive materials, equipment, tooling, and supplies. The position reports to the AMF Logistics Manager. The schedule is first shift, four 10-hour days per week.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license required.
• Candidates must have experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 years of prior experience operating forklifts and performing receiving, inventory control, and warehouse functions; or a post-secondary/associate degree and at least 2 years of prior experience operating forklifts and performing receiving, inventory control, and warehouse functions.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to use information and reports to improve department processes, services, and efficiency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Oracle/Maestro or similar warehouse operating systems.
• Ability to work independently in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Record information about materials received and shipped in the department computer system.
• Package and handle materials in accordance with company guidelines.
• Perform cycle counts and recounts, research lost items, and complete cycle count records.
• Count and/or weigh incoming parts to verify receipt.
• Move materials requiring inspection to the proper locations.
• Separate and move materials, equipment, and supplies between stores, warehouses, Operations, and Test areas.
• Unload trucks and ensure all materials and receiving paperwork are complete, accurate, and accounted for.
• After inspection, verify that inspection stamps, signatures, quantities, and acceptance tags or labels are accounted for.
