About The Position

As an Inventory Flow Specialist, you ensure Produce, Market, Deli, Dairy, and GM products are maintained and stocked each morning. You perform duties with a sense of ownership and a team approach. The role supports in-stock conditions, product freshness and quality, sanitation, and a store that is ready for customer shopping. Duties may be modified or supplemented based on business needs, subject to reasonable accommodations.

Requirements

Complete required job-skills and compliance-related training.
Knowledge of product rotation, department and Store sanitation, and shrink awareness.
Strong communication skills.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Ability to use material handling equipment and maintain a license.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Initiative, dependability, and attention to detail.
Ability to work a flexible schedule (mandatory).
Ability to stay attentive to customer needs.
Ability to lift 55 lbs and manage in excess of 85 lbs, while observing personal safe-lifting limits and seeking assistance or breaking down loads when needed.

Responsibilities

Load, unload, and move heavy or bulky products to support in-stock conditions.
Stock and rotate items and merchandising areas throughout the Store.
Build, stock, maintain, and take down Store displays as directed.
Check shipments for out-of-date and damaged products to ensure freshness and quality.
Report out-of-date or damaged products received to the Inventory Flow Manager.
Report missing signs and tags.
Organize, clean, and prepare prep areas, the wareroom, and sales floor for incoming trucks.
Remove cardboard and trash from shelves and merchandising fixtures.
Clean shelves and merchandising fixtures and keep the sales floor clean and safe.
Follow all safety and sanitation SOPs and applicable regulations and standards for product freshness, food safety, and sanitation.
Minimize shrink through careful product handling.
Provide a well-stocked, merchandised store that is ready for customers.
Answer product-related questions and assist customers in a friendly manner.
Perform cross-functional duties in other areas, such as processing returns and Scanner duties, as needed.
Perform other job-related tasks as requested by a supervisor.
