About The Position

Analog Devices (ADI) is seeking a high-potential New College Graduate (NCG) to join the Global Operations & Technology (GO&T) Finance team. This role supports inventory finance and analytics across a global manufacturing network. The position focuses on leveraging data and analytics to improve inventory visibility, forecast accuracy, and mix-related decision-making. The analyst will identify trends, flag risks, and support proactive actions for better financial and operational outcomes. This role also offers exposure to inventory accounting and operational finance, with close collaboration with Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance teams on strategies and processes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Basic knowledge of Financial accounting principles (GAAP).
Proficiency in Excel.
Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Cost accounting or manufacturing finance experience.
Exposure to tools like SAP, Anaplan, or Power BI.

Responsibilities

Analyze inventory mix, movements, and trends to identify risks and opportunities.
Support forecasting and planning processes by providing insights into inventory levels, demand signals, and supply dynamics.
Proactively flag mix imbalances, slow-moving inventory, and potential excess & obsolescence (E&O) risks.
Perform variance analysis between actuals, forecast, and plan to explain key drivers.
Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to translate operational metrics (yield, volume, scrap, cycle time) into financial insights.
Support monthly close and reporting, ensuring accuracy of inventory-related financials.
Assist in improving data models, automation, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, data platforms).
Contribute to process improvements that enhance visibility, forecasting accuracy, and decision-making.
