Inventory Cycle Counter for Fastwater Staffing and Recruiting
About The Position
Support the client’s end-of-year cycle count by accurately counting and verifying company-issued hardware in cycle counting software so physical inventory matches system records. Review assigned count lists, locate items in their storage locations, and confirm that each item matches its listed part number, serial number, or asset tag. Count items by hand and record quantities and locations in the software, scanning barcodes or serial numbers where possible. Recount items when physical counts do not match system quantities, document variances, and escalate unresolved differences to the inventory lead. Return items to their correct locations, keep count areas tidy, and tag counted areas to prevent duplicate or missed counts. Handle controlled and sensitive hardware according to company security, access, and safety requirements. Provide daily updates on completed counts, open discrepancies, and blockers during the count window.
Requirements
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Comfort using scanners, handheld devices, and inventory software.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 lbs for extended periods.
- Ability to follow documented procedures and work independently.
