About The Position

LKQ Corporation is hiring an Inventory Cycle Count employee for an auto parts warehouse. The primary function is inventory cycle counting. Duties may also include shipping and receiving activities, processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing, and retrieving warehouse stock. The position may involve operating manual or powered equipment to move products.

Requirements

Up to 1 year of work-related experience.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to communicate basic messages orally, write brief messages, and keep simple records.
Ability to follow clear directions, standard procedures, and guidance from a supervisor or manager.
Ability to work with assignments and priorities provided by a supervisor or manager.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
Ability to work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles, including in awkward positions.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
Experience in a warehouse or similar work environment.
Prior experience operating PIT equipment, such as a forklift or order picker.

Responsibilities

Receive and put away inbound product in designated locations.
Pick or pull the correct product from appropriate locations and deliver it to the staging area or delivery truck.
Operate manual or powered equipment to transport products in and around the warehouse.
Sort and place parts and supplies on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence.
Maintain orderliness and housekeeping in assigned work areas.
Comply with established company policies and procedures.
Assume other duties as assigned.
