The Inventory Control Coordinator Senior is responsible for developing and maintaining cost-effective maintenance and monitoring programs for inventory to maximize usage and minimize expenses. This role establishes a follow-up program to monitor the effectiveness of supply systems, ensures needs are met, and coordinates appropriate inventory levels across multiple sites. The position serves as the main contact for inventory transfers between facilities, resolves procurement issues, and reviews/recommends changes to inventory data levels. Additionally, the role provides recommendations on inventory levels and consolidation opportunities, acts as a procurement resource, and develops systems to track inventory age, overstocks, and vendor exchanges. Collaboration with Corporate Purchasing for requisitions, order verification, placement, and delivery assurance is key. The role also involves producing and reviewing usage and cost reports, identifying product standardization and cost-saving opportunities, providing analytical data, coordinating product conversions, and building vendor relationships. Responsibilities include verifying and reconciling vendor credits and exchanges, and ensuring vendor contracts are correctly loaded into computer systems.
