ORBIS is currently hiring an Inventory Coordinator responsible for ensuring accurate inventory management and supporting efficient plant operations. This role involves overseeing inventory control processes, including reconciliation of discrepancies, physical inventories, audits, and product tracking. Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of inventory processes
  • Successful completion of Operator 3 (for Internal ORBIS Employees)
  • Less than 3 attendance points (for Internal ORBIS Employees)
  • No disciplinary actions above Verbal Warning (for Internal ORBIS Employees)
  • Remain in position for a minimum of 180 days (for Internal ORBIS Employees)

Responsibilities

  • Manage the plant inventory control process to include researching and reconciling discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain product identification and location program.
  • Oversee physical inventories/cycle counts/random or receipt audits/reconciliations.
  • Track and report non-conforming product.
  • Document and control aged and damaged product.
  • Train other plant employees in proper inventory control techniques and practices.
  • Identify, record and initiate any action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, process or quality systems.
  • Perform warehouse work and shipping/receiving as needed.
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed).
  • Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
