About The Position

The Inventory Coordinator oversees daily warehouse inventory control to maintain accurate records, efficient material flow, and compliance with internal controls and operational standards. The role coordinates storage and distribution activities, administers shipping, receiving, and material-handling procedures, and is accountable for inventory accuracy, cycle counts, reconciliation, and continuous process improvement. It also supports warehouse staff in inventory best practices.

The position works with receiving, shipping, production, and repair teams to ensure material availability and efficient warehouse operations. It uses NetSuite ERP for warehouse transactions and involves monitoring inventory-related KPIs, enforcing safety and inventory procedures, and improving workflow efficiency and space utilization. The role does not supervise direct or indirect reports.

Requirements

• Proven experience in inventory management, materials coordination, and warehouse organization.
• Strong understanding of warehouse procedures, inventory management principles, and space optimization.
• Proficiency with barcode scanners and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, procedure manuals, and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively individually and before groups of external customers and employees at various organizational levels.
• Ability to take accountability and responsibility for business target delivery and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily, weekly, and monthly cycle count programs; investigate variances and complete reconciliations.
• Perform and oversee shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions using NetSuite ERP.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of received goods.
• Coordinate with receiving, shipping, production, and repair teams to ensure material availability and efficient material flow.
• Administer and enforce warehouse and inventory control procedures, including verification of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse safety regulations, internal controls, and operational standards.
• Monitor inventory-related KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize inventory processes, workflow efficiency, and space utilization.
• Support warehouse staff in inventory best practices.
