The TGM Inventory Coordinator will commute to Hospital customer sites within the city of Boston, MA managing customer service relationships and handling distribution and inventory of Airgas Cylinders on Medical Center premises. This role involves maintaining cylinder gas inventory par levels in consultation with the customer, supporting seasonal adjustments to inventory levels, and placing and processing orders through the Air Gas.com/SAP system. The coordinator will document cylinder gas inventory usages, ensure the separation of empties from full and in use cylinders, and rotate non-specialty gas products. They will perform scheduled rounds to maintain par levels, coordinate cylinder deliveries, and change out gas/liquid cylinder manifolds. The position requires adherence to all applicable facility guidelines, Airgas Standards, and regulatory guidelines (SAFECOR, HS&E, MQCT, CGMP, OSHA, etc.). The Inventory Coordinator will also collaborate to obtain proper assistance for problem situations, respond to emergency situations to ensure uninterrupted product supply, conduct cylinder audits, provide inventory usage reports, and partner with accounts payable for accurate billing. A key aspect of this role is ensuring the safety of all persons and the general public surrounding facilities, actively collaborating with the local safety department to ensure hospital personnel properly handle and store medical gas products, and submitting Good Catch incidents.
