Reporting to the Supervisor/Chef, the Storekeeper/Inventory Controller is responsible for the effective management of all materials and inventory across on-site and off-site locations. This includes receiving, storing, tracking, and controlling supplies related to food, beverages, chemicals, maintenance, janitorial, housekeeping, and commissary services. This position is ideally suited for individuals with a background in hospitality or food and beverage, especially those with experience in cost control, inventory management, and supply chain coordination in hotels, camps, or remote operations. The Storekeeper plays a crucial role in supporting day-to-day operations in a remote Arctic mining environment, ensuring efficiency, cost awareness, and service excellence. This position requires fly-in/fly-out travel to the project site in Baffin Nunavut, with potential for weather-related delays or logistical challenges. The position involves a remote work lifestyle in a Baffin Nunavut camp setting with the following working conditions and amenities: All meals and shared accommodations are provided. Travel is provided to and from the site locations from a designated hub location in Edmonton, AB. Access to Wi-Fi. Access to laundry facilities and detergents. Access to a gym and common areas. Requires the operation of pallet jacks and the movement of heavy inventory safely using manual and mechanical jacks. Manual movement of food and other product for the majority of a 12 hour shift in outdoor conditions in all weather conditions. Extended periods away from home; rotational schedule required. Must comply with all safety and sanitation standards established by the client and company.
