Primary Objective of Position: Assist in the entire process of Inventory Control throughout Winnebago Towables. Work closely with Purchasing Agent & Line Buyers, as well as production employees.

Requirements

  • Minimum of high school diploma (required)
  • Minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience
  • Forklift experience
  • Ability to understand and analyze engineering prints
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft with extensive use and understanding of Excel
  • Problem solving skills & creative thinking
  • Self-motivated with drive for success

Nice To Haves

  • Purchasing accreditation is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Monitor any scrap/salvaged tags to enter in the monthly report to reorder or repair.
  • Issue VRA reports to suppliers and work with suppliers to have materials picked up.
  • Process VRA through the system to completion.
  • Enter purchase orders and complete weekly cycle counts.
  • Enter purchase orders, verify counts quantity, and log purchasing and usage trends for vendor cycle counts.
  • Analyze packing slips by verifying dates, signatures, PO numbers, and discrepancies.
  • Control inventory of raw materials and finished goods to ensure product availability meets customer needs.
  • Create or issue any part cards that are needed.
  • Balance inventory items at the request of Purchasing Agent for items that will become obsolete (model change) or items that are an issue for Group Leaders/Receiving.
  • Key in receipts, inventory transfers and inventory adjustments.
  • Document daily issues that production is seeing/having with material during the Daily Shortage Walk.
  • Assist with Plant transfers (in or out).
  • Maintain & Update Parts Cards.
  • Fill in Line Buyer when not in office for Vendor Returns, Packing Slips, and Cycle Counts.
  • Coordinate with Suppliers on exchanging defective material.
  • Enter & maintain monthly salvage report.
  • Help find solutions to material that will become obsolete.
  • Assist with analyzing ways to help reduce plant damage to inventory by looking for trends on high damage items so that we can stop the cause.
  • Assist Group Leaders with prep for quarterly Inventories.
