About The Position

The Inventory Control Technician compiles and maintains records of physical and virtual product inventories through daily cycle counting, claims management, and accounts administration. The role manages information related to ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping products for and from the facility, and orders shipping materials, supplies, and equipment to maintain inventory throughout the facility.

The position operates warehouse material handling equipment to move product while following regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The posting also states the role may require a flexible schedule and shift, including weekends if needed, and work in cold storage temperatures as low as -20°F or dry storage temperatures up to 100°F while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.

Requirements

• Ability to understand instructions in the country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C in cold storage sites or up to 100°F/37°C in dry storage sites while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds; required weight may be greater depending on the facility.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Keep inventory, purchasing, shipping, and other records.
• Compile data from purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting reports.
• Determine stock supply and the need for replenishment.
• Investigate damages, inventory adjustments, and shrink issues.
• Locate products to ensure correct product identification, conduct regular cycle counts, and assist with physical inventories.
• Verify shipping-order accuracy by reviewing stock numbers, pallet IDs, authorized substitutes, and other information against catalogs, manuals, product lists, and similar references.
• Review files to identify unused items and recommend disposal of excess or damaged products.
• Operate warehouse material handling equipment to move products while following applicable regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.
• Order shipping materials, supplies, and equipment to maintain inventory throughout the facility.
• Manage data related to ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping products for and from the facility.
