About The Position

BCS Stone & Cabinets Orlando Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor to maintain inventory accuracy and strengthen warehouse inventory control for a large-SKU stone and cabinetry operation. This role is responsible for ensuring that physical inventory matches Microsoft NAV system records, supporting accurate receiving and shipping transactions, performing cycle counts and spot checks, and training warehouse clerks to follow inventory procedures consistently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, comfortable with inventory systems, experienced in warehouse inventory control, and able to support both daily execution and process improvement.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse inventory control, inventory management, or warehouse operations.
  • Ability to use barcode scanners, spreadsheets, inventory reports, and basic computer applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inventory errors, process gaps, and system discrepancies.
  • Ability to train, guide, monitor, and correct warehouse clerks in daily inventory procedures.
  • Forklift operation experience required; valid forklift certification is preferred or must be obtained within the required timeframe.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with warehouse staff, operations management, sales, purchasing, customer service, and finance.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment, stand and walk for extended periods, and assist with warehouse activities as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with stone, cabinets, building materials, construction materials, or similar warehouse products is preferred.
  • Experience using Microsoft NAV or a similar ERP / inventory management system is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of receiving, shipping, inventory transfers, cycle counts, spot checks, and inventory reconciliation.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Chinese is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records for stone, cabinet, and related warehouse products, including approximately 7,000–8,000 SKUs.
  • Ensure physical inventory matches Microsoft NAV system records.
  • Review inventory transactions, stock balances, item movements, locations, and adjustments in Microsoft NAV.
  • Support accurate receiving by ensuring incoming products are checked, counted, scanned, labeled, recorded, and stored properly.
  • Support accurate shipping by ensuring outbound products are picked, scanned, verified, loaded, and recorded correctly.
  • Monitor barcode scanning compliance and help prevent missed scans, incorrect scans, duplicate scans, and undocumented inventory movements.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and random spot checks to verify inventory accuracy.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Develop, improve, and enforce inventory procedures for receiving, storage, picking, shipping, returns, transfers, and adjustments.
  • Train warehouse clerks on inventory procedures, Microsoft NAV transactions, barcode scanning, product handling, and documentation standards.
  • Provide on-the-floor guidance, correct process errors, and escalate repeated issues to the Operations and Warehouse Manager.
  • Operate forklifts as needed and follow warehouse safety and product handling requirements.
  • Prepare inventory accuracy reports, cycle count results, discrepancy summaries, and process improvement updates.
