About The Position

Midwest Hose is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Control Data Specialist to optimize our inventory management operations. This on-site role requires expertise in Trulinx, advanced data analysis, and hands-on collaboration with the inventory and supply chain teams. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, inventory management, or supply chain (required)
  • Advanced skills in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL)
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and data presentation skills
  • Prolonged standing, walking, stooping, bending, lifting – 50% daily (subject to change daily)
  • Assist in lifting in adherence to Midwest Hose Safety Standards, pushing, and/or pulling up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands typical in a warehouse environment including but not limited to grasping and fine manipulations with hands, reaching, squatting, climbing, activities working around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, exposure to light dust and fumes

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or Business Administration (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Trulinx (preferred)
  • ERP or inventory management system experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Analyze inventory data to optimize stock levels, demand forecasts, and replenishment cycles
  • Develop reports and dashboards to track inventory KPIs such as turnover rates and stock variances
  • Collaborate with inventory control teams to ensure accurate data entry and system tracking
  • Conduct root cause analyses of inventory discrepancies and recommend solutions
  • Provide actionable insights to support purchasing and logistics teams
  • Maintain data integrity across inventory management systems, including Trulinx
