About The Position

The Inventory Control Specialist will oversee the ordering, storing, receiving, and supplying processes of Holtec’s products and materials. The Inventory Control Specialists will control the flow of material and equipment, track and analyze inventory maintenance, and aid in developing enhanced procedures for a successful inventory control system.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in a warehouse environment maintaining inventory
  • Advanced Proficiency in MS Office
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Able to work weekends as assigned
  • Ability to meet physical demands required to perform essential job functions, with reasonable accommodations as applicable
  • Frequent standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motion
  • Regular use of hearing, speaking, grasping, and manual dexterity
  • Ability to work in warehouse or outdoor environments with exposure to varying conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Track material and goods being shipped to vendors, between facilities, and out to sites.
  • Assist with loading and unloading shipments, part collection and distribution, and mail and carrier deliveries.
  • Storing and staging area upkeep of the wire cage, yard, each individual bay, and warehouse.
  • Ensures that inventory counts are completed regularly and in a timely manner for each area and the Kardex machine.
  • Audits the facility’s entire inventory (warehouse, shop floor, and outside storage) including location of material, on a regular basis and provides weekly reports to management.
  • Creating and maintaining training material for future inventory personnel.
  • Reporting to management any problems, obstacles, or challenges and advising on process improvements.
  • Performs weekly housekeeping of wire room and wire cage.
  • Other duties as assigned.
