Inventory Control Specialist
About The Position
As an Inventory Specialist with Insight, you will research distribution errors reported by the Client Services team. We will count on you to provide and track a credit return number to the client services team when warranted. Along the way, you will assist with inventory adjustments and warehouse master data maintenance. We are legendary for taking care of our teammates. Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Strong researching and problem solving skills
- Strong math background
- Experience with a WMS system is a must
Nice To Haves
- Good typing skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Responsibilities
- Count product daily according to a count schedule.
- Analyze counts for variances and perform any necessary bin to bin movements.
- Research any remaining variances for errors in shipping, receiving, locating, etc.
- Block missing product and adjust product counts in order to assure smooth product flow.
- Research distribution errors reported by the Client Services team.
- Provide and track a credit return number to the client services team when warranted.
- Assist with inventory adjustments and warehouse master data maintenance.
