Requirements

High school Diploma
Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.
Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.
Database management skills.
Ability to analyze and solve problems.
Clerical, word processing, and/or office skills.
Forklift certified.

Will back up Inventory Control Specialist 1.

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain current inventory levels while minimizing excess supply.
Reconcile stock counts reports.
Initiate actions to replenish stock.
Inspect shipments for accuracy and completeness, and resolve inconsistencies on Work orders and Sales orders.
Monitor and maintain current inventory levels; track inventory levels and investigate problems with root causing.
Record purchases, maintain database, perform physical count of inventory, and reconcile actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
Perform Daily/weekly Cycle Counts following Cycle Count Plan.
Create bins and labels racking.
May lead, guide, and train staff / student employees, interns, and/or volunteers performing related work.
Assist in Master data collection.
Daily monitoring of production lines and inventory left over.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Operate a Forklift, pallet jack, and Order picker.
