About The Position
The Inventory Control Representative performs inventory control functions in a warehouse, including cycle counts, inventory sweeps and adjustments, product and location setup or moves, recalls, returns to vendor (RTVs), product identification, and maintenance of the product item master. The role reconciles inventory discrepancies and provides detailed investigations and explanations for inventory adjustments. It supports and interacts with all warehouse functions and frequently contacts customer service, vendors, and the corporate purchasing department. The position is full-time, scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Perform cycle counts and inventory sweeps.
- Make inventory adjustments and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Set up and move products and locations.
- Handle recalls and returns to vendor (RTVs).
- Identify products and maintain the product item master.
- Investigate inventory adjustments and provide detailed explanations.
- Support and interact with all functions within the warehouse.
- Frequently contact customer service, vendors, and the corporate purchasing department.
