About The Position

Flex is seeking an Inventory Control Management Co-Op for Spring 2027 at its Orangeburg, SC site. This role supports extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to the company's growth. The co-op will assist with inventory initiatives to support production, material planning, and reporting for the site, reporting to the Inventory Control Manager.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled student pursuing bachelor’s degree - preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain (undergrad students only)
• Enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Highly collaborative, creative and excellent communication skills
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Applications
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and eager to learn new processes and tools.
• Available to work 40 hours/week (in-person) for Spring 2027 school semester
• Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
• 3.0 minimum GPA

Nice To Haves

• Flowchart knowledge is a plus!
• Previous internship, co-op, and/or project experiences a plus!

Responsibilities

• Learning the basics of material and production planning, including ERP and planning workflows.
• Supporting process mapping and documentation for planner activities.
• Supporting preparation of daily/weekly production, inventory, and material reports.
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to ongoing projects or improvement initiatives.
• Providing ad‑hoc support during month-end activities and planner tasks as needed.
• Contributing to data gathering for inventory analysis, trends and dashboards.
