About The Position

Maintains a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity within the facility. This role will serve to maximize space utilization as defined by Distribution Center Management, monitor inventory levels and product movement, control/isolate non-conforming product as defined by local work instructions and in conformance with quality standards and expectations as well as ensure conforming product mix, facilitating efficient order fulfillment, and contributing to a safe and orderly working environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in inventory control for a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Strong organization and attention to detail skills
Demonstrates pride in work and ensures accuracy
Proven strength in customer service to meet or exceed customer requirements
Flexible and adaptable
Willingness to provide support; demonstrates a “roll up your sleeves” attitude
Proficiency with technology systems and software including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, Inventory applications, etc.

Nice To Haves

Professional Materials Management (PMM) and Profession of Logistics (PLOG) are preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitors and controls inventory and inventory integrity; researches inventory discrepancies and makes corrections as necessary.
Ensures inventory problems are resolved efficiently and in a timely manner.
Oversees physical inventories/cycle counts/random or receipt audits/reconciliations.
Maintains product identification and location program.
Tracks and reports non-conforming product; documents and controls aged and/or damaged product.
Ensures inventory is labelled accurately and meets all compliance requirements.
Maintains relevant inventory accuracy metrics and associated reports for management (and Divisional Operations as appropriate).
Coordinates and Integrates efforts across operational departments to enhance inventory accuracy.
Regularly trains site staff in proper inventory control techniques and practices.
Participates in cross-training activities to provide support to other team members as necessary.
Provides general support in support of efficient operations of the site.
