Inventory Control Coordinator
About The Position
The Inventory Control Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and optimizing inventory levels to support operational efficiency and compliance. This role serves as the primary point of contact for Supply Chain Specialist support and oversees the return process for the warehouse team. Key duties include completing goods receipts, troubleshooting inventory discrepancies, managing the shipping log, coordinating sample requests, and reporting team KPIs. The position also supports logistics coordination for incoming and outgoing freight and performs any additional duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse or shipping/receiving experience
- Understanding of ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Proficient in office management software (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Positive and professional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, strong sense of urgency
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Cross-functional communication and coordination
- Inventory accuracy and data management

- Forklift experience recommended
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records & optimize inventory levels
- Support operational efficiency and compliance
- Primary point of contact for Supply Chain Specialist support
- Administer and maintain cycle count data, report results, support audit process
- Main point of contact for Supply Chain Specialist (SCS) support & communication
- Oversees return process for warehouse team
- Complete goods receipt for merchandise & subcontract items; make sure labels are printed
- Troubleshoot inventory discrepancies and implement preventative measures; manage PROD inventory with operations support
- Manage shipping log & documents for all warehouses
- Coordinates sample request intake and delegates associated workload
- Report team KPIs
- Support logistics coordination for incoming and outgoing freight
- Any additional duties assigned by management
