About The Position

The Inventory Control Coordinator checks in delivery drivers and inspects returning trailers. The role verifies returned and damaged goods and re-enters goods into inventory. It handles inventory-control matters, checks the quality of designated products, takes daily inventory, breaks full produce cases into smaller cases, maintains daily inventory records, sorts pallets of bad products, and determines the quality of products returned by customers.

Performance Foodservice is a broadline distributor serving local customers such as independent restaurants and hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and quick-service eateries. Its team works closely with customers and provides advice on operations, menu development, product selection, and operational strategies.

Requirements

• 6–12 months of experience in accounting, inventory accounting, administrative support, or a related area.
