About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring an Inventory Control Coordinator to verify and reconcile inventories belonging to customers, their suppliers, and DHL. The role completes physical inventories and compiles and analyzes reports. It also serves as an interface among customer support, suppliers, and customer management to resolve inventory issues.

The position is listed as First Shift, with a schedule of 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and pay of $21.05 per hour. The ideal candidate can read and write, has basic computer skills, can handle small parts, and can read small numbers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of warehousing experience; barcode system experience is preferred.
• Working experience with cycle counting and inventory control.
• Knowledge of and experience with inventory systems and/or Topex.
• Working knowledge of SAP inventory.
• Ability to read and write and basic computer skills.
• Dexterity to handle small parts and ability to read small numbers.

Nice To Haves

• Warehousing experience with a barcode system.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile inventory and enter data into the customer’s system of record and the WM System.
• Analyze data and transactions using Excel spreadsheets to identify root causes.
• Monitor and enter data for several in-transit buckets in SAP for finance department reporting.
• Compile and maintain cycle-count data for management reports to the customer.
• Monitor failed transactions and physically reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate with customer support, suppliers, and the customer to resolve inventory issues.
• Investigate inventory shrinkage and advise the departmental manager.
