About The Position

The Inventory Control Coordinator helps maintain inventory levels and product quality by performing clerical functions such as compiling and retaining records, updating computer records, and preparing requisitions. The role provides the division with current inventory records to support efficient shipping and confidence in customer product. The position is based in Aurora, Illinois, and is expected to relocate to Plainfield, Illinois, by mid-2027. The posting lists a starting rate of $25 per hour and an expected base-rate range of $21.93 to $36.55; it also includes a separate range of $21 to $33. Overtime compensation may apply.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Five years of experience with inventory control and HAACP requirements.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong math skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work on complex tasks, prioritize workload, and advise others in the department on workflow.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to serve as a resource to others.
• Ability to operate a computer and perform filing.

Responsibilities

• Compile records from ordering, shipping, and receiving materials.
• Update computer information to maintain inventory records.
• Assess stock supply and reorder status.
• Prepare and verify requisitions for additional stock items.
• Assist with inventory and procedural audits when necessary.
• Perform other clerical duties as necessary.
• Advise on the activities of other inventory control associates.
