About The Position

Baptist Health is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to join their Materials Management team at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This is a Full-time Days opportunity, working Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with potential for weekend work. The role involves working closely with licensed healthcare professionals and directly impacts their ability to provide patient care daily. The ideal candidate will possess warehousing, customer service, and leadership experience, and be proficient in Microsoft Excel. The position is located at Baptist Jacksonville, a Magnet™ designated hospital known for its high-quality, comprehensive care.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED - Required
• Comfortable utilizing Microsoft Excel

Nice To Haves

• 3-5 Years Operating Room Materials Management Experience - Preferred
• Associates of Arts/Sciences - Preferred
• Warehousing experience
• Customer service experience
• Leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the day to day Materials Management operations and Supply Chain Management in support of the Surgical Services department.
• Procuring supplies, equipment, and services for Surgical Services utilizing various electronic methods.
• Warehousing of supplies.
• Fostering excellent customer service by ensuring the customer's daily needs is met with all request for orders placed and expedited for on time delivery.
• Performing scale audits, sample counting, and expiration management.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
