About The Position
Eligible for up to $1,000 Sign-On Bonus if hired! Baptist Health is currently looking to add a Radiology Technologist to our Radiology Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Part-Time Evening opportunity working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 5 p.m. - 2 a.m. Call rotation may be required. As a Radiology Technologist, your day will consist of prepping rooms and positioning patients to capture clear diagnostic images that guide clinical decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with nurses and physicians, operate advanced imaging equipment, and ensure every patient receives safe, accurate, and compassionate care.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Registered Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography, ARRT (CI) Required OR Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT Required OR Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Required
Nice To Haves
- Customer Service Experience
- Radiology/Imaging Experience
- Experience working in a hospital setting
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
Responsibilities
- Performing high-quality radiographic procedures.
- Promoting goodwill amongst co-workers and with other departments, and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
- Reporting to the Lead Technologist on shift.
- Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
- Comfortable with Pediatrics
- Identifying, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner, by state and federal regulations, or Lawful institutional policy.
