About The Position

RJW Logistics Group is hiring an Inventory Control Clerk for their E Shift. This role is responsible for conducting cycle counts and bin location audits, assisting in researching and reconciling inventory discrepancies, and supporting inventory-related functions concerning materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts in the stockroom, warehouse, or yard. Requirements

  • Minimum 1-3 months related experience and/or training in Inventory Control.
  • Minimum 1-3 months related experience and/or training in warehouse environment.
  • Experience operating power equipment is required, such as Reach Truck, EPJ and or cherry picker/order picker.
  • PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access Database.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks and pallets.
  • High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency.
  • Ability to read and write emails.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using WMS software a plus (Synapse preferred).
  • Forklift certification a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Performs physical counts of inventory items to maintain accurate inventory.
  • Counts and reconciles randomly chosen or chosen part numbers and/or locations on a daily basis.
  • Accurately inputs inventory control data to ensure inventory integrity.
  • Completes necessary documentation thoroughly, accurately, and on-time.
  • Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.
  • Operates motorized equipment including: Cherry Picker, Sit-Down Forklift, Stand-Up Reach Truck.
  • Other tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager.
  • Ensures compliance to inventory processes and procedures, and contractual obligations.
  • Utilizes computer terminal to properly account for inventory issues, returns, and documentation.
