About The Position

RJW Logistics Group is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk for their 2nd D Shift. This role is responsible for conducting cycle counts and bin location audits, assisting in researching and reconciling inventory discrepancies, and supporting inventory-related functions concerning materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts in the stockroom, warehouse, or yard. Requirements

Minimum 1-3 months related experience and/or training in Inventory Control.
Minimum 1-3 months related experience and/or training in warehouse environment.
Experience operating power equipment is required, such as Reach Truck, EPJ and or cherry picker/order picker.
PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access Database.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks and pallets.
High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency.

Nice To Haves

Experience using WMS software a plus (Synapse preferred).
Forklift certification a plus.

Responsibilities

Performs physical counts of inventory items to maintain accurate inventory.
Counts and reconciles randomly chosen or chosen part numbers and/or locations on a daily basis.
Accurately inputs inventory control data to ensure inventory integrity.
Completes necessary documentation thoroughly, accurately, and on-time.
Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.
Operates motorized equipment including: Cherry Picker, Sit-Down Forklift, Stand-Up Reach Truck.
Other tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager.
Ensures compliance to inventory processes and procedures, and contractual obligations.
Utilizes computer terminal to properly account for inventory issues, returns, and documentation.
