About The Position

The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for replenishing, receiving, inspecting, and accounting for materials used in the plant, as well as arranging inter-company shipments when necessary. The position requires competency in on-the-job activities that may directly or indirectly affect product safety, legality, or quality. The role also involves keeping the work area clean and organized and complying with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalency.

Nice To Haves

One or more years of experience in shipping/receiving operations.

Responsibilities

Replenish required ingredients, wrapping and labeling supplies, and miscellaneous items.
Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damaged or unsanitary merchandise, refusing or returning such items.
Store and rotate production supplies properly.
Conduct weekly inventories of supplies.
Arrange shipments of materials to other company plants.
Deliver some supplies throughout the plant.
Complete daily and weekly administrative paperwork.
Keep the work area clean and organized, with like items grouped in designated areas.
Comply with company policies and procedures, including those concerning equal employment opportunity, sexual harassment, safety, and Sarbanes-Oxley.
Perform other duties assigned by management, including fulfilling work schedules and following attendance policies and other applicable operating rules, policies, and procedures.
