About The Position

The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring timely fulfillment of stock requests, and supporting daily operational needs within the facility. This role involves coordinating supply replenishment, managing product returns, and supporting surgical case preparation through effective inventory management. Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Prior experience in surgical or medical procurement is required.
  • Basic math and accounting skills.
  • Proficiency in computerized material management systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Exceptional multitasking, organizational, and priority-setting abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel or equivalent spreadsheet software.
  • Comfortable working in a Windows-based environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with hand tools and material handling equipment (e.g., hand carts, dollies) is preferred.
  • Experience with standard office equipment (phone, fax, copier, scanner, email, voicemail) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Fulfill supply requests and issue products in a timely manner based on priority.
  • Enter stock replenishment requests to maintain appropriate ASC inventory levels.
  • Receive and process incoming deliveries, verify accuracy in Workday, perform put-away tasks, and stock inventory.
  • Create and process product return requests with Supplier.
  • Monitor and follow up on the status of missing or delayed orders.
  • Verify that ordered items meet quality and consistency standards.
  • Respond promptly to emergent requests for special pickups and deliveries.
  • Conduct daily inventory checks and restock supplies as needed.
  • Review the surgical schedule for upcoming surgical cases and prepare surgical packs accordingly.
  • Utilize physician preference cards to create daily inventory issues.
  • Perform quarterly inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
  • Collaborate regularly with the Site Director in conjunction with Sr. Manager of Procurement to assess procurement needs.
  • Attend and complete all mandatory training sessions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the procurement department.
  • Coordinate with scheduling teams for special equipment needs.
