About The Position

Anchor Fabrication is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Control Clerk to support manufacturing operations in La Vergne, Tennessee. The role helps maintain inventory accuracy, support production, and ensure materials are available to meet customer demands. The position is full-time on the 1st shift (day shift).

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to accurately handle data entry and inventory transactions.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility during the workday.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

Previous inventory control, warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics experience.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Receive, verify, and process incoming materials and supplies.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or overages.
Enter inventory transactions into the ERP/MRP system.
Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, and Shipping departments to ensure inventory accuracy.
Assist with physical inventories and annual inventory audits.
Verify material movements between departments and storage locations.
Generate inventory reports and maintain documentation.
Follow company safety and quality standards.
