About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring an Inventory Control Clerk. The role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy by verifying inbound and outbound orders and ensuring inventory entries and adjustments are accurately reflected in the warehouse management system. The position involves maintaining inventory records, performing daily inventory management procedures, coordinating physical inventories, adjusting system records as needed, and completing routine clerical assignments. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 4:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. (second shift). Pay is $20.50 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience operating an order picker, reach truck, and dock stocker.
• At least six months of inventory control experience, including cycle counting, reporting inventory discrepancies, receiving inventory, and monitoring inventory levels.
• At least six months of experience with a warehouse management system (WMS) or similar system such as JDA, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, or SAP.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of warehousing and inventory experience is listed as preferred.
• A forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment is listed as preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory records.
• Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties.
• Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust the system as necessary.
• Accurately adjust inventory for overages, shortages, defective products, and damaged products according to procedures.
• Perform routine clerical assignments, including filing invoices and maintaining records.
• Verify inbound and outbound orders to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Ensure inventory entries and adjustments are accurately reflected in the warehouse management system.
