About The Position

The Inventory Control Assistant performs data entry, data and process audits, and clerical and system support. Support may include system data, purchasing, planning and scheduling, data accuracy, or other needs specific to the site. The role supports production and inventory control personnel and serves as a source of information for internal inquiries related to production and inventory control and coordination with other internal departments. The position is full-time and located in Sparks, Nevada, with a day shift. Salary is undisclosed. Requirements

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including email, spreadsheet, and word-processing applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

Some coursework after high school.
Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
Six months of prior experience working in the construction industry as a supplier, contractor, or in an office support function.

Responsibilities

Perform assigned data entry tasks accurately and with comprehension.
Identify errors, exception conditions, and outlying inputs, and notify responsible parties in a timely and dependable manner.
Assist with and provide backup for scheduling and planning processes.
Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders based on site-specific needs.
Respond to information inquiries from internal entities regarding production and inventory control responsibilities and their interaction with other internal departments.
Assist production and inventory control personnel with tasks, input, and follow-up based on site-specific requirements and assignments.
